Google has announced that they will be getting rid of Google Friend Connect for non-Blogger blogs (and possibly all blogs in the future). This means that as a WordPress blog, Reclusive Bibliophile will not have a GFC widget soon. Do not fret! I know that GFC is convenient for many people, but there are a variety of ways to keep up with my blog posts, and I hope that you will choose to switch over to one of these options when GFC disappears (or, even better, in advance).
On the top right side of the blog, there are buttons to subscribe through Feedburner and my Twitter feed. My posts are also syndicated to the blog’s Facebook page. In the sidebar, there’s an option to subscribe to an email newsletter. Also, you can always subscribe to the feed through Google Reader (or your blog reader of choice) by clicking subscribe and entering the link.
